Qmee is blocking people on twitter, Facebook and banning/suspending users just because. How to know if your account is being investigated, suspended, or banned.

Here’s what /u/JasonColin has to say about it:

Several users recently have been talking about issues from Qmee(here and elsewhere), including no surveys, not being able to cash out, to only a few surveys every few hours with palm trees, to (still) payment processing delays, and surveys that are green but don't pay between 10-24 hours later.

Several people complaining have been banned/suspended, and many blocked on twitter and Facebook, for example these guys here had one of these problems.

The weirdest part about this is that several of these users claim that they have not just been waiting not just a response to their previous email conversation in a week or MORE, but many (maybe most) haven't received a response from Qmee for a week or MORE, after they FIRST made the initial contact with Qmee support and received the near instant default Email that they will contact them back in 3-5 days. Which never happened

You can search through FB and Twitter and see the last couple months have had a high amount of complaints with similar results, for various problems. Several Qmee posts removed conveniently.

In some cases on Facebook and Twitter, a person will claim to be a customer service rep and you may think that's who you thought they were talking to the whole time, but no, they will usually type in a message on Twitter or Facebook and place their names at the bottom, proving that you weren't ever really dealing with the "real" customer service before. However, afterward these posts are conveniently deleted from either social media platform. Only these posts with issues or complaints, not the Qmee replies otherwise or the ones who stan for them, unless someone says their complaint was resolved, so if posts questioning or complaining about Qmee or their service are the only ones being removed later, that's telling,

A user posted these examples: https://twitter.com/MasterXboxThe/status/1500835218621620224

Several users responded to these type of posts or in private messages with their Email ID, which Qmee claims to useto either "Look up their tickets" or find their "Email associated with their account and find their question", and suddenly many of them are now complaining about being banned or according to them from a Qmee message "semi-suspended" as their accounts are "investigated" for an "indefinite" amount of time that is never clearly stated.

I decided to fool with CS myself and talk to some of these users who have been going through all this the last 1-2 months, and it seems that Qmee is randomly investigating accounts and that when this is happening, you're surveys get cut significantly and you see more palm trees, and you are more likely to have processing problems and/or issues with cashouts, while this isn't everyone, the surveys being scarce seems to be the thing that's most universal, and the idea is that as you are being investigated for whatever duration they choose, you won't be able to complete many surveys until the investigation is over, assuming they don't ban you. Of course you have NO IDEA what they are investigating.

But this "soft-suspension" or any of the bans are all done without your knowledge, you receive no notifications, in fact your account at first glance seems otherwise is fine until you wonder why after 24 hours you still have no surveys or can't cash out, or keep facing other problems. For the non-banned but investigated, you have no idea how long the "investigation for fraud purposes" lasts, and you of course would have no clue about this unless you were of those people who got CS to slip up or came to this sub on reddit, otherwise you'd likely think it was something you did or you just weren't getting surveys oh well, yet if you were to make a new account with the same qualifiers and profile questions answered the same way, but not add a paypal, you'll see troves of surveys, a bit curious huh?

It seems to me that Qmee is picking up the pace on messing with or banning accounts randomly, and without clear reason, whether you are literally brand new and been doing it for a week, or maybe thinking things will never change and have been using them for 5 years, your account literally can be gone tomorrow.

My suggestion? Never leave a single penny, not even $.01 cent in Qmee, because then at least you wont have your money on lockdown if Qmee randomly decided to lock your account for whatever reason they do so, making you wait 1 week or more to find out what's happening, assuming they respond to you at all, otherwise you'll just be banned without being notified, and if you communicate on Facebook or Twitter they will block you as soon as you send them your email, and then they will delete the evidence.

Originally I was thinking of quitting for moral reasons with what they have been doing to others, but considering Qmee is still the only instant to within 25 minute pay survey site out there, I still use it because I get paid instantly from surveys, and from that it's instant to 25 minutes before it's sent to Paypal, and then I can use instant cash on Paypl to have the money in my bank within another 5 minutes. There isn't another survey provider that isn't filled with complaints or tricks that is as fast, and with no minimums, as everything else is slower, or the surveys take hours or more to pay, or you need $5 to send to paypal or more.

However, I have always removed every penny and never left cash on site, and I try to not do too many surveys because Qmee has a high decline rate, and decline rate does have some influence on how Qmee views your account, so to prevent risk of random account suspension or banning, or random investigations, I try not to binge too many surveys in a short time, as 3 years ago I had my account flagged for too many declines, including declines without actually seeing the survey without leaving the dashboard, which of course isn't my fault, and it took 2 weeks for Qmee to fix it, so since then I am careful and remove all funds each session, sometimes multiple times a session.

I've been on Qmee since Search was a major part of the site, Surveys were actually more of a thing later, now it's known for Surveys the last several years and search is practically useless and dead, but they used to be a lot more consistent and fast with their CS, and it was somewhat fair, but it's falling apart, so until then just be careful. I know some people have quit for moral reasons of not supporting their practices, but they are still in the end one of the better Survey sites and there are much worse sites out their with even worse behavior, but I understand if you do.

With that said, for those who complain about a sudden cut up in surveys, seeing palm trees, or other problems on parts of the site, you may have a soft-suspension or be under investigation, the best way to figure that out is to make a new dry account, as in without connecting to paypal and without much info, and just imitate your profile and see what comes up. If you are noticing a mass of surveys it means Qmee messed with your account, since all surveys matching profiles, even at times dead ones, which is why you see those "this survey was closed" messages at times, go to each person in most cases that match the criteria.

For hard suspensions, you have to ask Customer service and they may be able to "fix" your account after waiting for their response. They'll of course not tell you it's a suspension (or investigation) unless they slip up.

For bans, well you won't know until you have no surveys for days. and after a week or more Qmee doesn't ever respond to your email(s). You can also try to contact them on social media and then they'll block you for extra confirmation once you give them your email, but you only need the former. Based on their policy you can't get that money if it's left in there, your best bet if banned is to wait a month, use different wifi, and maybe make a new account to get giftcards, unless you managed to get multiple paypal accounts without paypal flaggng you, you can add that other account to get paid via paypal, but most likely you're going to be stuck on gift cards, but you do so at your own risk either way because if you mess up and they can detect you're the same guy they'll flag your funds or gift card credit.

Anyway sorry for the wall of text, but it's important to know this stuff so you are aware of what to look out for.
