Here’s what /u/Bermin299 has to say about it:
Hello, all. As the title suggests, this is about the rampant data theft that has seemingly ramped up on Qmee recently. What was once a rare occurrence have depressingly became far too common. It is so bad now that you can complete an entire survey and have to cross your fingers that the money actually goes into your account. This shouldn't be the case. If you complete a survey, is truthful with your answers, pass all attention checks, and follow the rules the survey laid out, you should be paid.
Qmee must be well aware of the data theft at this point, but they seemingly don't care. They care about keeping their real customers–the survey providers–happy, so they look the other way. That's unacceptable. Qmee needs to either force survey providers to stop declining at the very end of surveys, provide more consistent partial payment for end-of-survey declines, or better yet, route out disqualified users ASAP and not let them finish the entire survey beforehand. But they won't do this on their own. They have to be dragged kicking and screaming to do right by its users.
So, what can be done? The most direct way is to stop using the site/app and tell Qmee why. If we continue to use the site/app, despite getting cheated out of time and money >50% of the time, what incentive is there for Qmee and survey providers to change for the better? This thread, I hope, will be used as a place where we users can generate ideas to give to Qmee to solve this issue. As it stands, the site/app is quickly becoming not worth the time for users.
